TASK 7: INTEGRATE BUYSAFE INTO POST-TRANSACTION PAGES AND COMMUNICATIONS

If a Bond was selected

If a buySAFE Bond was selected, it must be displayed every time the cart contents are displayed.  This typically includes a receipt page and a receipt email, as well as within the merchant’s order management system.

The BondingSignal that is returned from the SetShoppingCartCheckout call must be placed on the receipt page, along with the Bond Cost.  If a graphic cannot be displayed, the CartLineDisplayText can be used to describe the buySAFE fee.

Next to the buySAFE Bond Fee, a link with the title of "Questions?" should be displayed. This Questions link will provide customers who have a chosen to purchase a buySAFE Bond with answers to commonly asked questions and contact information for buySAFE. The URL for this link is returned in the CartDetailsUrl element of the SetShoppingCartCheckout response.

In every instance, the Total Cost of the cart must include the Bond Cost.

If a Bond was not selected

If a buySAFE Bond was not selected, the buySAFE signaling and bond fee should not be displayed in any post-transaction pages or communications.
