Who can benefit from the buySAFE Website Bonding API?

Any online retailer selling on a stand-alone Website can benefit from using buySAFE. buySAFE provides merchants with:

What if I use a third-party tool for my shopping cart/checkout?

If your shopping cart/checkout provider is already a buySAFE Certified Developer that has implemented buySAFE's Website Bonding solution into their service, you won't need to use the buySAFE Website Bonding API. You simply need to enable your store for Website Bonding, and this process will vary depending on the shopping cart/checkout provider you use. If your shopping cart/checkout provider is not currently a buySAFE Certified Developer, we recommend that you contact them directly and request they implement Website Bonding into their service..

What is the process for becoming a certified developer?

1. Complete the contact us form on the developers' site.
2. Review the documentation you receive from the buySAFE Developers' support team. Complete, sign, and return the buySAFE API License Agreement.
3. Upon receiving your signed license agreement, the buySAFE Developers’ support team will send you a sandbox token. You can use this token to access our sandbox and begin development of your application.
4. Once your application is complete and stable, submit it to our support team for review.

5. If your application is approved, we will provide you with production environment credentials and you can release your application to the public.

How long does the implementation process typically take?

The average implementation time is less than two weeks; however, your actual amount of time will depend on your platform. We’ve designed our API to be straightforward and simple and we offer you unlimited access to a talented, dedicated support team.
